Black-throated Green Warbler Setophaga virens

Black-throated Green Warblers breed in coniferous forests of northeastern United States and southeastern Canada.  They winter in Mexico, Central America, and the West Indies.

With portions of its population wintering in both Central America and the West Indies, these warblers occur with about equal frequency in northwest Florida and in the Florida peninsula during migration in the fall and spring.
