Black-throated Blue Warbler Setophaga caerulescens

The Black-throated Blue Warbler is a bird of the deep forest.  They breed in the northeastern United States and southeastern Canada.  They winter in the Caribbean islands including Puerto and Cuba.

In Florida, they appear as uncommon to fairly common migrants during both the fall and spring migrations to and from the Caribbean.  They are seen more frequently along the peninsula coasts then inland. They are seldom seen in the Panhandle.
