Blackpoll Warbler Setophaga striata

The Blackpoll Warbler breeds in the coniferous forests of Alaska and Canada.  They winter in northern South America.  They undertake the longest migration of any North American warbler.  Some individuals travel over 8,000 km from Alaska to Brazil.

In Florida, this species is a spring or fall transient throughout the state, although it is rare inland.
