The Peregrine Falcon can be found almost anywhere in the world. Its breeding range includes land regions from the Arctic tundra to the tropics.
In Florida, this species is an uncommon fall through spring visitor. Most migrate through the state, but a few remain during the winter months. During the Florida Keys Hawkwatch, around 3,000 of these birds are usually observed migrating south in October.
