The White-tailed Tropicbird is a pelagic bird, spending most of its life on the water. They are found in the tropical waters of the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans. They breed on Bermuda, the Bahamas and other tropical islands.
This bird is a casual summer visitor in the Florida Keys and along the eastern Florida coast. It is accidental in the northern Gulf of Mexico.
