Red-eyed Vireo Vireo olivaceus

Red-eyed Vireos breed in open wooded areas across Canada, and the eastern and northwestern United States.  They spend their winter in South America.

In Florida, this species is a summer resident, breeding throughout the Panhandle and the northern half of the Peninsula.  These birds arrive in April and depart from mid-September through mid-October.
