Northern Rough-winged Swallow Stelgidopteryx serripennis

The Northern Rough-winged Swallow breeds in North America from southeastern Alaska and southern Canada through the United States and into Central America. They winter along the Gulf coast from Florida to Texas and south through Mexico and Panama.

This species is a year-round resident of Florida.  It is considered a rare to uncommon breeder throughout the state, although it is found more frequently in the western panhandle.
