Dunlin Calidrius alpina

Dunlins breed in the subarctic and Arctic regions of Alaska and Canada.  They winter along the Pacific, Atlantic and Gulf Coasts from southern Alaska and Nova Scotia south to Mexico.

In Florida, it is a common fall through spring visitor.  This species generally arrives in October and departs in April.  They are found both the Atlantic and Gulf coasts of the Florida peninsula.
