Long-billed Curlew  Numenius americanus

The Long-billed Curlew breeds in the Great Plains and intermountain valley regions from southern British Columbia to southwest Saskatchewan south to east-central California and North Texas.  It winters from Washington and Florida south through Mexico.

In Florida, it is considered a rare to very rare winter resident, usually found along the coasts.
